At The Chase, we work hard to accommodate the riding goals of each individual. Whether you aspire to win a grand prix or hunter championship, improve the balance and responsiveness of your horse, or simply "learn to ride better", we can help you reach your goals.
In addition to private and group lessons, both full and half training are available for you and your horse. Training is customized to the needs of each rider and/or horse with lessons and training sessions divided accordingly. In full training, referred to as "Training and Supervision", you and/or your horse are given at least four scheduled lessons or training sessions per week. Additional coaching or schooling will be provided as needed. Half training is two such sessions per week.
School Horse Lessons
The Chase has several school horses available for riding lessons. Beginning riders are taught the foundations of safe and effective riding, good horsemanship, and safety in grooming and handling of horses. More advanced riders are taught the theory behind proper riding techniques as well as the techniques themselves.

For more experienced riders who do not own a horse, an alternative to riding a school horse is to lease or half lease a horse. We sometimes have one or more quality trained horses available. A full lease gives you exclusive use of the horse, in exchange for paying his expenses. A half lease involves splitting these expenses with the owner or another lessee, and sharing use of the horse.
